So, a lot has changed since my post almost a year ago. My life is the roxorz. I broke up with my boyfriend of 4 years this summer. Over this past year, I met and flirted with the bagpiper from my favorite band. During Irish Fest this summer, he invited my friend and me to the after party where all the bands, volunteers, and people the bands invite all hang out. At the party, I met some interesting people but really didn't talk to the guy who invited me. My friend asked a wandering man if he had a cigarette she could bum off him. However, he informed her he didn't smoke but still managed to get one for her. He later told me that he made a point to find one because he thought I was cute. We started talking and I was surprisingly comfortable around him. Then, out of the blue, he said "I kinda want to make out with you right now." And I, being carefree for the first time in 4 years, said "The feeling is pretty much mutual." So we proceeded to find a location in which we could implement that plan. It turns out that we are pretty much the same person, the ying to one another's yang. We exchanged numbers and have been dating for 3 months The only real killer is the fact that we live 7 hours away from each other. Thankfully, we're madly in love and have been at first sight so we make it work. I changed my life plan and won't be student teaching in Scotland. Instead, I'll be student teaching in Wisconsin and eventually going to grad school in Scotland. I will also be traveling back to Scotland for Spring Break. Hellz yeah.

I didn't know I was unhappy until I met him and found happiness.
